A photographic work spun out from the video work “The Dawn”.

A black-and-white photograph of waves taken with a high-speed shutter was made into a symmetry form by invert the negative and positive.
In the momentary image of the wave breaking, various images such as the internal organs of the human body, the cross section of plants, ores and fossils are reminiscent.  The title “The Dawn” includes not only dawn of time, but also the meaning of a thing before completed.

映像作品「The Dawn」からスピンアウトした写真作品。

高速シャッターで波を撮影した白黒写真を、ネガポジを反転させ、鏡面化により対形態にした。波が崩れる一瞬のイメージの中に、人体の内臓構造、植物の断面、鉱石や化石など様々なイメージを想起させる。タイトルの「The Dawn」は時間的未明と同時に、物事が出来上がる未然という意味も含む。
