TEPPEI YAMADA

Work created by collaboration with Fashion designer, Yuta Ogawa on the theme of “universality and variety” of humans. A silk see-through clothing is attached to the speaker and trembles by heartbeat. We have the thing that same as or different with others. Structure of society made by gathering with self and others. I was reconstructed it using human primitive elements.
The title “Dressing” is expressing symbolizes two things, one is “clothes and to dress”. Another is such as salad Dressing, it means ” Mixed but not perfectly mixed”.

人間の「普遍性と多様性」をテーマに服飾家、小川優太とコラボレーションによって制作した作品。 人間の鼓動を赤い糸のついたスピーカーで可視化した装置に、絹のシースルーの衣服が取り付けられ、鼓動と共に震える。私達は他者と同じもの、または違うものを同時に持つ合わせる。自己と他、そしてそれらが集まり形成する社会の構造を人間のプリミティブな要素を使い再構成した。 タイトルのDressingには「服や装い」という意味と、サラダにかけるドレッシングの様に「混ざり合うが、完全には混ざり合わない」という２つの意味を象徴しいる。
