TEPPEI YAMADA

The theme of this piece is the resonance of physical human bodies and the resonance of their memories. As Tokyo becomes ever more metropolitan, office towers and apartment buildings grow densely packed, and it becomes harder and harder to see how people live. I have exhibited the existence of those working their jobs inside an office tower, or living their lives inside an apartment building, through their memories and the sound of their heartbeats, as a sound installation that will resonate with whomever views the exhibit.
