Teppei  Yamada’s “NAGOYA DANCE” set up in the underground landing is just heartbeat.Various generations collected in Nagoya city • Heart rate of people of occupation is amplified and resounds from the speaker.The red thread connected to the cone is hung with the clothing that owner of the heartbeat, and it trembles, bouncing up with the sound.As a whole installation is a noise = a mass of energy, but as one body approaches, each different pulsation resonates in the mind.If you gently touch clothes, you can even imagine breathing, voice, body temperature of the somebody. As a matter of course,I have another beat.In this work, many heart beats occupy with the void of “The landing”. It is a homage to the dynamic city Nagoya. And it is also a stage with love for differences.

地下の踊り場に設置された山田哲平さんの《NAGOYA DANCE》はまさしく鼓動。名古屋市内で採取された多様な世代•職業の人々の心拍が増幅され、スピーカーから鳴り響く。そのコーンに繋がれた赤い糸には心拍の主の衣服が吊られていて、音響に会わせて跳ねる、震える。インスタレーション全体としてはひとつのノイズ＝エネルギーの塊なのだが、１体１体に近づくと、それぞれの異なる脈動が心に響く。さらにそっと着衣に触れるならば、未見の主人公の呼吸、声、体温さえ想われる。気付けば無論、私にもまた別の鼓動が。多数の個の心拍が“踊り場”というヴォイドをともに占領する本作は、躍動する都市名古屋へのオマージュであると同時に、差異への愛にひたすら貫かれたステージたりえてる。
